About Friendship Peak Expedition:

Friendship Peak Expedition is a renowned trekking peak in the Pir Panjal range of the Indian Himalayas in Himachal Pradesh. The trek derives its name from the Friendship Treaty between India and Pakistan in the 1950s. It offers a thrilling opportunity for both experienced and novice trekkers to test their limits and experience high-altitude trekking.

The trek is a 6N/7D journey that takes you through beautiful alpine meadows, dense forests, and rugged terrain, providing spectacular views of the surrounding peaks. Starting from the popular tourist destination of Manali, the trek offers stunning vistas of the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal ranges, guaranteed to leave trekkers spellbound.

The climb to the summit of Friendship Peak Trek involves navigating steep rocky slopes, narrow ridges, and a glacier. Hence, prior experience in high-altitude trekking is necessary. However, the summit offers a rewarding 360-degree panoramic view of the surrounding mountain ranges and valleys.

Trek Itinerary:

Day 1: Make your way to Manali (2,050 M)

Day 2: Manali (2,050 M) to Dhundi (3,150 M) via Solang Nalla and onward to Bakkarthatch (3,300 M)

Day 3: Bakarthatch (3,300 M) to Advance Base Camp at Lady Leg (3,840 M)

Day 4: Load Ferry to Summit Camp (4,000 - 4,200 M)

Day 5: Onwards to Summit Camp (4,000 - 4,200 M)

Day 6: Summit Day (5,289 M)

Day 7: Reserved as a Reserve Day!

Day 8: Back to Where We Started!

Who Can Participate:

• Age: 12+ Year
• First Timers Can Apply: Previous trekking experience is more appreciated
• The climber must be fit and have sufficient stamina to cover 5 km of distance in 40 min without stress
• The participate should be able to carry a 10-15 kg backpack

Policy on Confirmation:

• After a successful booking, the customer receives an email confirmation voucher.
• In the event that the customer's preferred slots are unavailable, an alternate schedule will be negotiated and a new confirmation voucher will be given via email.
• Alternatively, the consumer may cancel their reservation prior to confirmation and receive a full refund.

Policy on Cancellation:

• If you cancel 15 days before your trip, you will be charged 30.0 percent of the entire tour cost as cancellation fees.
• If you cancel between 7 and 10 days before your trip, you will be charged 50.0 percent of the entire tour cost as cancellation fees.
• If you cancel between 0 and 7 days before your trip, you will be charged 100.0 percent of the entire tour cost as cancellation fees.

Policy on Payment Terms:

• 0 days prior to the booking date, 100% of the total tour cost must be paid.

Policy on Refunds:

If you are eligible for a refund once your tour has been successfully cancelled. The amount of your refund will be put into the payment account you used to make your payment to us. Within 10 business days, the applicable refund amount will be processed.
